Tokyobike’s Juliana Rudell Di Simone dresses local

We’ve renewed our partnership with Tokyobike New York to offer onefinestay guests in New York a free bicycle for a day. Tokyobike’s jetsetting US co-founder, Juliana Rudell Di Simone, takes ‘well-travelled’ to another level, whether it’s a holiday in Capri or business in Tokyo. She’s also something of a fashion icon, having been featured in Vogue for her impeccably chic (and lycra-free) cycling garb. We caught up with her to find out how to adapt your look to the feel of our favourite cities.

Los Angeles
‘’Dresses, dresses and more dresses. LA for me has a touch of sexy, so there’s nothing wrong with showing a little skin.’’

Paris
‘’The secret is in the details. I always pack very classic pieces for Paris with the special touch being my accessories – statement jewelry, bags and shoes.’’

New York
‘’While this picture was taken in Portugal, asymmetrical skirts and tees are a big part of my New York wardrobe. A big leather tote makes the look complete and also helps when exploring the city – you never know what you will find on the way.’’

London
‘’Leather and culottes are some of my go-to pieces, just to add a little extra rock-n-roll to London’s scene. Metallic shoes are one of my favorite trends of the moment and the same goes for cropped tops.’’

Rome
‘’It’s impossible to not try and recreate all of Audrey Hepburn’s looks in Roman Holiday. The midi skirt is the perfect length for Rome. Off-the-shoulder tops are a great way to keep the look modern and also fresh. There’s nothing like a pair of gladiator sandals to complete an outfit.’’
