#LiveWellTravelWell: Kaya-Line Knust

You may have seen Kaya in our recent event recap of the US launch of STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! in one of our beautiful Buff & Hensman homes. We felt privileged to have been able to listen to Kaya speak about the brand and its mission to raise awareness on conscious water usage. As she is no stranger to travel, we caught up with her again to ask her how she takes her well crafted life on the road with her.

Kayablog

STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! started in 2011 when Kaya and a group of likeminded people got together on World Water Day to discuss how they could change current global habits of water wastage. As a result, the conscious cosmetic brand was born and has grown into a global range of soaps, creams and hair products. In addition to the message printed on every bottle, the product itself is made with 100% natural ingredients and is 100% biodegradable.

Raising awareness on conscious water usage is only half the task. The other half is helping the one billion people around the world with no access to clean, drinking water. Enter Kaya’s separate initiative: Global Water Projects, which donates a share of revenue to global projects that provide fresh, clean water to areas where there is limited to none. Kaya and her brand are a true testament to environmental consciousness and wellness.

Kaya was kind enough to provide her top five #LiveWellTravelWell tips:

1. Take your daily cosmetics products with you.

I don’t like the cosmetic products hotels or apartments provide since they often contain PEG’s, parabens, artificial ingredients or similar things I’m not a fan of. I actually really use all of our STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! products. I don’t only love the high quality formulation but they’re also 100% biodegradable and you could even use them on a camping trip in a lake. Home is where your shampoo is!

2. Home comfort wherever you go.

I’m always cold so I often carry a light scarf with me. It doesn’t only provide warmth and comfort but also the smell of home wherever I am. Pillows are as important for me. There is nothing better than to get a good nights sleep on a pillow, which you can actually sleep on!

3. My essential meal: breakfast!

I’m addicted to a certain kind of healthy homemade porridge and I make sure to take it with me on all my trips. I just add some local fruits and it provides me the best base for an exciting day abroad.

4. Never stop moving wherever you go.

If you travel a lot it is important to stay on some kind of fitness routine. So I make sure to always bring my running shoes and take morning runs wherever I go. If I get lucky, I sometimes have the chance to visit some cross fit boxes around the world. The community always makes you feel like home!

5. Have your own soundtrack with you.

Wherever I go I check upfront if the place I’m staying at has some kind of speaker system. If you listen to your own music in hotel rooms or apartments it transports all the good feelings through your heart and into your feet.

You could definitely see your expertise within the work you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always go after your heart. “The only way most people recognize their limits is by trespassing on them.” by Tom Morris.

Thursday, September 20, 2012 – 12:48 pm That is a steamer basket for steaming things. It also allows you to cook two things at the same time. I never use mine but it could be useful!

the good thing about your choices is that you’ve picked some great places. we moved from chicago to portland about 6 years ago — portland is a great mid-size city that many describes as a european feel to it — bend is a picturesque big town —- vancouver BC has an international and cosmopolitan feel to it — but more expensive. f these are your top 3, you’ve done well on your picks! keep us posted.kevinwww.bullinachinamarket.com

I'm planning on getting out the autumn decor this weekend. Of course, the scarecrow that goes on the front porch will end up being played with all day. I LOVE my autumn candles and hurricanes – pumpkin spice and so warm and inviting. And last year I got the best wreath at Costco – who knew? Plus I have the pumpkin with the white lights by the hearth, along with the gaudy purple sparkly pumpkin chosen by Elizabeth when she was 5. Then it's time to bake Pumpkin Bread – I need three loaves for my little goblins who eat it all up while it's still warm!Blessings,Erin

Very nice review Joe!Im ready to join Guilt Wars 2 now!Whould you think a good idea to re-review some older mmos that are now free and have improved over the passing of time such as Star Trek, or DC Univerce online? It would be really helpfull to new players I think.I would really like to see that.
