Every day our photographers are out and about, exploring a different area and a new home long before the rest of us get to see it. Lucky chaps. But because we’re as curious as a bunch of meerkats, we’ve convinced them to send us a sneak preview of the most exciting new homes. Last week they encountered some furry and feathered friends at a Ladbroke Grove townhouse, part home and part gallery for all things splendid and wonderful.

Tantalised by a mere glimpse of this remarkable home, we’ll have to practise patience before seeing it in all its glory.

Later we received a couple of snaps of a new home in Highbury. And, inspired by the cosy-looking kitchen and its delightfully kitsch collection of mugs, we took a tea break to debate which we were anticipating most.
